What is sound proofing?

Sound proofing in general means to reduce/minimize or eliminate unwanted sounds. To do this you would require materials that will perform the above. There are a few materials sold in market exp: SuperLon, Bitumen, Dynamat (Modified Bitumen) and etc.

In this article we are not going to discuss about 4W & 1H of sound proofing. You can do that by googleing “Sound Proofing Wiki”. So let’s get to the fun part on how to DIY sound proofing into your car.
